Although the setting provides you with a tranquil holiday, it is also an ideal base for touring nearby villages and cities. Nerja, named the "Jewel in the Med" is only a 12 mins drive from the villa. Frigiliana, a pretty white-washed, geranium flowered, village is 15 mins drive with a choice of mountain road or motorway.

The Caves of Nerja are a 15 mins drive away, and are spectacular - not to be missed. Further along the coast is a lovely port of Marinas del Este where most of the regions scuba diving takes place. There´s something for everyone in the Costa del Sol, with a natural park, unique in Europe with more than 2000 animals, a fun, musical and amusement park and aquaparks all within easy travelling.

Many hotels and beach restaurants offer regular weekly flamenco shows free of charge. Andalucia is a region with so much to offer, with some well known wonderful magical cities awaiting you, such as Sevilla , Cordoba , Granada to name but a few. Of course, the Costa del Sol is a haven for sports also. There are many golf courses up to championship standard, horse riding, scuba diving and water sports, beautiful mountain walks and also a privately run tennis court nearby.
